Funeral for Douglas Darlynn Dodd, 86, of Decatur will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Lancaster and Dustin Dodd officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Dodd died Tuesday, December 29, 1998, at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. He was born July 8, 1912, in Decatur. He owned and operated Jervis Foundry for many years and was an U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by one son, Dustin Dodd of Bristol, Tenn; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill Simms and David Stephenson.
