Sanderson Rites Set.

Arthur W. Sanderson, 1027 South C. St., long-time resident of the Arkansas City vicinity and a retired wholesale grocery salesman, died in Memorial Hospital at 3:50 a.m, Saturday. He had been ill about two months.

Born in Griggsville, Ill., Dec. 2, 1877, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Sanderson. He moved to this vicinity as a child and lived in the Mt. Hope district. He retired about 20 years ago as salesman for the Oklahoma-Kansas Wholesale Grocery Co. Sanderson attended the First Methodist church.

Survivors include one son, A.W. Sanderson jr., Wichita; three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Thelma) Marsh, Oklahoma City, Miss Eugenia Sanderson, San Diego, and Mrs. Lyle (Betty) Crabtree, San Diego; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, 10 a.m. in the Erdman-Oldroyd Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Ronald Terry, officiating. Burial will be in Newkirk cemetery beside his parents.
