THE DEATH OF MARIAN J. ASH
Marian J Ash, wife of John Ash, died at her home at Stockwell Saturday night of a complication of diseases. She was born August 18, 1838, in Tippecanoe county, and her entire life was spent in Wea and Lauramie Townships. She was a member of the Christian church. Besides her husband she is survived by five sisters. Mrs Margaret McCaskin, of Rantoul, Illinois, Mrs. Elizabeth Eicholtz, of Kansas; Mrs Ellen Boyer, of Texas; Mrs Hettie Walch, of Oklahoma, and Miss Martha Cloyd, of this County, and two brothers, Richard and Thomas Cloyd, both of this county. The funeral was held from the Christian church at Stockwell Tuesday morning. Rev E B Chancellor officiated, and interment was made at the Stockwell Cemetery.
