Dorothy Foulke Hatch

1926 ~ 2009

Dorothy Foulke Hatch, 83, passed away November 13, 2009. She is survived by five children, fifteen grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was the oldest of four children born to Walter and Christine Foulke in Yardley, PA. There she went to school, married, raised her children and was introduced to the LDS Church. In 1972 she moved to Provo and later to Orem. She worked for the public school system for twenty years. There in Orem she met her sweetheart, William Hatch. They were married for twenty years before he passed on.

Dorothy loved music and singing. For years she spent her spare time crocheting doilies and beautiful ornaments for her home. She loved to read and recite poetry. She also loved beautiful flowers which reminded her of her mother and home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at the Suncrest 6th Ward Chapel, 891 West 130 North, Orem, Utah with a viewing at the church one hour prior to services. Interment in the Orem City Cemetery.
