Clifford Wesley Prestwich, 85, of Pleasant Grove succumbed on March 27, 2011 following a long valiant battle with Alzheimer's. Cliff was born December 7, 1925 in Huntington, Utah to William Morley and Myrtle Madsen Prestwich.

Cliff attended school in Orem and Pleasant Grove High School. He joined the Marine Corp at 17 during WWII, serving in Maui, Japan, and Guam from 1943-46. He met his sweetheart, Susan Winters, and they married July 31, 1947 in Pleasant Grove. Cliff was a Brick Mason all his life. His work can be seen in many beautiful buildings in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, and California. He retired in 1997.

He is survived by his seven children: Tom (Bev) Prestwich, Mesa, AZ; Janis (Denley) Fowlke, St. George; Carol (Jim) Rogers, Salt Lake; Marilyn (Roger) Holbert, Lindon; Bill (Carrie) Prestwich, Pleasant Grove; Susie (Dave) Mower, Pahrump, NV; Paul (Kori) Prestwich, Highland; 26 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren and a great great granddaughter; sister, Helen Phillips and brother, Ronald Prestwich. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Susan and two grandchildren, Season Schramm and Jake Prestwich.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.

Family and friends may attend a viewing from 12:00-1:45 p.m. prior to services at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove.
