Funeral services for Charles Michael Beeman, 34, 1006 Dogwood Ln., will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the West Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Crutchfield of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens. Beeman died Friday at the local hospital.

Pallbearers will be David Carpenter, Gary Kirkes, Norman Allen, Nick Belcher, Floyd Autry and Gary Harris.

Beeman was born in Carlsbad and raised in Malaga. He was a Carlsbad High School graduate. He worked mine maintenance at Mississippi Chemical Co. and was a member of the Elks Club.

He is survived by his wife, Norma, of Carlsbad; three daughters, Brandy Beeman, Linda Melton and Pam Kessler, all of Carlsbad; a son, Jerry, Denver, Colo.; three brothers, Frances, Joe H. and Bill, all of Carlsbad; a sister, Pat Allen, Carlsbad; and two grandchildren.
