BAIRD - Velma Shelton, 93, lifelong Callahan County resident, died Wednesday in a Clyde nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Baird First Baptist Church with the Revs. G.W. Weeks and Ross Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Admiral Cemetery, directed by Parker Funeral Home.
Mrs. Shelton was born in Admiral and married Milton Shelton in 1921 in Baird. She was a homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, C.B. Shelton of Tye; two daughters, Faye Patterson of Abilene and Melba Miller of Clyde; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
