Norma "June" Ussrey was born September 11, 1937 in Seminole OK to Evelyn B. and Troy D. Adams, she was raised abroad with her brothers and sisters who were all inseparable. June was a rodeo "Queen" in barrel racing. She always shared a strong bond with every member of her family, and that family is a big one! At age 14 June married Harlan Gerald Ussrey "Cricket". Together they had 4 children, Harland Gerald Ussrey II, Georgia Abagail "Sissie" Ussrey, Rocky Van Ussrey, and Norma Jeryl Ussrey. June later married Roger Dale Ussrey and they had a baby son Benjamin Paul Ussrey. June and Roger spent over 40 years together. Over the years June became and Oklahoma icon, known far and wide by many, many people during her 50 plus years in the flea market business and as well as being avid bingo player. June was recognized wherever she went. She had a wonderful singing voice, and was known by many as "The Karaoke Queen". She had many fans! June always made an impact and left something special with everyone who knew her, whether it was her awesome cooking, or the loving way she nurtured and protected anyone who would let her. June is a true one of a kind original and will be truly missed by all! June is survived by husband Roger Dale Ussrey of the home. Her children, Harlan Gerald "Jerry "Ussrey and wife Lynda, Georgia Abagail "Sissie" Ussery, Rocky Van Ussrey and wife Neysa, and Norma Jeryl Shrader and fiancé Rick. 3 Brothers, Charles Adams and wife Brenda, Gary Adams and wife Geri, Calvin Adams and wife Beth. 16 much loved grandchildren, Jerry, Kimberly, Crystal, Dana, Kenneth, Vanessa, Brandon, Rocky Jr., Brittany, Ashley, Charley, Dylan, Lendzio, Rocquel, Ben and the youngest Nathan. As well as 16 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins, who also loved her very much and she sure loved them all! June was preceded in death by mother, Evelyn Massey Adams, Father Troy D. Adams, Son Benjamin Paul Ussrey, Baby daughter Joy Ann Ussrey, Brother Bill Adams, Brother Gene Adams and Sister Donna Lee Adams Douthit. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Friday, April 1, 2011 at Jubilee Worship Center, Tulsa, OK. Reverend David Sears will officiate. Vocalists will be Misty Adams and Trisha Miller. Pallbearers will be Larry Lawmaster, Donnie Hendrix, Marty Adams, Arty Adams, Chuck Adams, Jerrod Adams, James Adams, Adam Adams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ken Shrader, Larry Woodson, Rick Richards, and Steve Shrader. Burial will follow the funeral at 3:00 p.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery, Mannford, OK.
