MeMa" was a patient, giving and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister to her family and a special friend to all who knew her.

She was an expert seamstress until her health forced her to give it up. She was a fighter that met every challenge head on. She loved life and she loved being with family and friends, going out to dinner, shopping and growing flowers.

MeMa was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew L. & Inez Powell; husband, Cecil Hill; sister, Lucy Smith and brothers, Rabun Powell and Howard Powell.

She is survived by her children, Billy "Betty Joyce" Hill of Nashville, GA, Suzanne "Mark" Tootle, of Pooler, Kim "Bill" Thompson of Hayesville, NC, Stan "Karen" Hill of Richmond Hill; Sister, Wilma Meeks of Tucker; brother, Bernice "Betty" Powell of Claxton; eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; Many loved nieces and nephews, and so very many special friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday from the Reidsville Baptist Church.

Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
