Funeral services for Ivan Littlecalf Evans, 23, of Carnegie were held Saturday, February 11, 2006 at the Cedar Creek United Methodist Church in Carnegie.
Prayer services were held Friday, February 10, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Home Chapel in Carnegie.
Ivan was born on December 18, 1982 in Lawton and died Thursday, February 9, 2006 from injuries sustained in an auto accident southeast of Carnegie.
He graduated from Carnegie High School. He played football and basketball for the Carnegie Wildcats. He was a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma. He was also a Kiowa Fire Fighter.
He is survived by his parents, Raymond "Pat" Pena and Sharon Cozad Pena of Mountain View; four brothers, Anthony Littlecalf of Ft. Cobb, William Littlecalf of Lawrence, Kansas, Eric Littlecalf of Carnegie and Cody Tonips of Apache; seven sisters, Natasha Littlecalf of Lawton, Tiana Bab of Lawton, Raelinn Rena of Jennimass, LA, Lisa Pocowatchit of Lawton, Sharee Berryhill of Anadarko, Fawn Valenzuela and Melissa Tsatoke, both of Carnegie; maternal grandmother, Vera Cozad Buffalomeat of Mountain View; paternal grandmother, Carmalitta Wahnee of Mountain View, paternal grandfather, Myers Wahnee of Mountain View; and adopted grandparents, Carrie and Donald Horse; numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Laverne Buffalomeat; maternal great grandmother, Carrie Ahhaitty Stumblingbear.
Burial was in the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of the Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Home in Carnegie.
