James Harold Seale, 77, of White Hall, died Monday, March 28, 2011, at his home.
Mr. Seale was born July 28, 1933, in Franklinton, Louisiana, to the late J. Y. and Edith Duncan Seal.
He was reared and received his education in Franklinton, Louisiana, where he graduated from Pine High School. He moved to Pine Bluff in 1958. Mr. Seale joined the U. S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict.
On April 9, 1953, Mr. Seale married Sarah Thomas, in Franklinton, Louisiana. Mrs. Seale passed away on February 10, 1996.
He worked for International Paper (now Evergreen Packaging), where he worked as Pulpmill Supervisor. He retired from there in 1992.
Mr. Seale married Vergie Nell Jenkins on February 14, 2008, in Pine Bluff.
He was a member of Claud Road Baptist Church, the Supervisor's Club, and the Quarter Century Club.
Mr. Seale enjoyed fishing and hunting until his illness disabled him.
Mr. Seale was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah T. Seale, and his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Vergie Nell Seale of White Hall; two sons, Jamie (Pat) Seale of Atlanta, Texas, and Jay (Tiffany) Seale of White Hall; a daughter, Beth (Steve) Andrews of Pine Bluff; a brother, Don Seal of Franklinton, Louisiana; six grandchildren, Stephanie (Jody) Solida of Wake Village, Texas, Ron (Melody) Seale of Atlanta, Texas, Stephen (Jurinda) Andrews of Woodlawn, Tami (Casey) Buchanan of Grapevine, and Jay Seale, Jr. Of White Hall; and six great-grandchildren; two stepchildren, Steven Whitney of Graysville, Tennessee and Deborah Whitney of Angie, Louisiana; and three step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Stephen Andrews, Jr., Casey Buchanan, Ron Seale, Greg Seal, Jeff Seal, Mike Seal, Kenneth Scott, and Jim Caldwell.
