Nola Warren, 89, of Lexington, formerly of Linden, passed away Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014 at Decatur County General Hospital. Graveside services were held Oct. 21, 2014 at Kirk Memorial Cemetery. Bryan Powell officiated services. She was born July 5, 1925 in Perry County to the late Daniel Asbury and Parthenia [Hinson] Barber. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Linden. In addition to her parents she is also preceded by her husband, J.W. Warren, her twin sister, Ola Murdock and brothers Franklin, DanielJ Jr., Arlie and Ray Barber. Survivors include her daughter Pam Powers, grandson Warren Powers and great grandchildren J.W. and Isabella all of Lexington. [Lexington Progress, c. Oct 2014]
