Edward Miles Lahmann 80, Indianapolis, passed away March 27 2011.He was born 24 December 1930, in Indianapolis to the late Clearance Edward and Beatrice May Miles Lahmann. He married Doris Jean Davis on 17 March 1973,at Indianapolis, and she preceded him in death 8 March 2003. He was employed as a steel worker at MacSteel, and retired after 40 years of service.Edward proudly served his country in The Korean War. He loved to paint. Other survivors include his son Edward Lahmann of Indianapolis; daughters Maryanne(Randy) Ellison, Karen (Tom) Irish and Elizabeth Jenkins ,all of Indianapolis; step-sons James Schutte of Indianapolis Jerry Schutte of Los Angeles;step-daughters Lisa (Mark)Bunch of Indianapolis and Sherri (Kenneth) Roosa of Martinsville; 9 grandchildren;& 14 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be 1:00 PM., Thursday,31 March 2011 at West Newton Cemetery. With Elder Randy Ellison,of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Sanits officating, Miltary Rites by Miltary Honor Guard , Grave Decation by Elder Ellison.
