CRESCENT HEIGHTS-Services for Dorothy Pledger Riley, 81, Crescent Heights are scheduled for 4:00 P M Wednesday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Chapel with Dan Wilson officiating.
Burial will follow in Malakoff Cemetery.
Mrs. Riley passed away March 24, 2011.
She was born September 21, 1929 in Van Zandt County to the late Emmett Emile and Avis O. Eskue Pledger. Following graduation from Kaufman High School, Dorothy had a 20 year career with Sears before retiring in 1995. She lived in Duncanville 15 years and moved to Crescent Heights in 1996.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gaston E. Riley, March 27, 2004 and son G. Eddie Riley, June 25, 2008.
Survivors include a brother Derald Wayne Pledger, Malakoff; grandchildren Julia Christine Cart, Gregory Everett Riley, Michael Edwin Riley, James Corday Riley II, Megan Lee Reay; 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 P M Tuesday.
