Resident of Newkirk Dies.

Mrs. May Shook 75, died at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Her home had been in Newkirk since 1925, when she moved there with her family.

She was born in Illinois and moved with her husband and family to Oklahoma in 1910 and lived on a farm near Blackwell until moving to Newkirk. Her husband A.A. Shook died in 1944.

Survivors include four sons, P.J. Shook, 121 S. Fifth St., T.H. Shook, Ada, Okla., W.L. Shook and P.A. Shook, both of Oakland, Calif., a daughter, Mrs. Verna Robinson, Wichita, 12 grandchildren; two sisters, and one brother.

Services are pending, awaiting arrival of relatives. The Stahl funeral service at Newkirk is in charge.
