Marion M. Knisley, age 87 of Clyde, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 in her home after a long illness. She was born May 10, 1920 in Port Huron and was a life long area resident. She married John A. Knisley Sr. on December 10, 1939 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1981.

She was a member of Kimball Calvary Church. Marion prayed for many people, and loved the Lord. She also loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Thomas (Patricia) Knisley of Ruby, 2 daughters, Virginia (Olaf) Middaugh of Livonia, and Linda (Larry) George of Kalkaska, 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Virginia Stead, Jo (Ab) Clement, and Beverly Middaugh, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, John Knisley Jr., 2 grandchildren, John Knisley III and Sally Schloss, 2 sisters, and a brother.

A funeral service will take place at 11 AM Friday in the Kimball Calvary Church in Kimball Twp, with Pastor Leonard Meadows officiating. A graveside committal service will follow in Caswell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Timothy Knisley, Terry Middaugh, Roger and Larry George, Arthur Knisley, and Thomas Knisley Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Marion's great-grandsons.
