FORT WORTH - Virginia Affleck Partridge, a retired civil service executive secretary, died Dec. 23 at her home. She was 78.

Graveside service was Dec. 29 in Childress Cemetery. Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Partridge was born in Childress and had lived in Fort Worth for many years.
