Johnstown Daily Tribune, Monday, April 15, 1918:

Mrs. Lydia Ream Livingston, widow of Joseph Livingston, died at the home of her son, James Livingston, 1475 Franklin Street, Eighth Ward, at 7 o'clock Saturday night, after an illness lasting six weeks. She was in her 85th year. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ream and was born in Upper Yoder Township, this county, on December 12, 1833. She was a sister of Stephen Ream, of the Eighth Ward; John Ream, of Foustwell; Mrs. Julia Howard, of Nicktown, this county, and Mrs. Lavina Boyer of near Forwardstown. Miss Ream and Joseph Livingston were married in this vicinity some 60 years ago. Mr. Livingston died in the Eighth Ward about 1897. The following children survive their mother: John R. Livingston, of Berkley Road; Mrs. Barbara Horner, of Lorain Street; W. J. Livingston, of Sell Street; James Livingston, of Franklin Street, and Jacob Livingston, of Sandusky, O. Besides these, she is survived by 26 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Her husband served in the Civil War. The funeral of Mrs. Livingston will take place tomorrow morning, the funeral party to leave the home of John Livingston on Berkley Road at 10 o'clock. The services will be held in the Derby Street United Evangelical Church and will be in charge of the Rev. P. L. Griffiths, the pastor. Burial will be made in Grandview Cemetery.
