Cecile Maxwell Williams, 89, died Tuesday, June 24, 2008 in Charlotte, NC. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Jean Williams and by sisters, Helen Lowe and Charlotte Driggers. Mrs. Williams is survived by her sister, Sara Davis; children, Donna Dobson, Lynne Hutchins and her husband, Kenneth, Wayne Williams and his wife, Carole, and Kay Eargle and her husband, Benjie. Also surviving are six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. today, Thursday, June 26 at Amity Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church parlor. A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27 in Fairview Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Lawrenceville. Memorials may be made to Amity Presbyterian Church, 2831 N. Sharon-Amity Rd., Charlotte, NC 28205; Fairview Presbyterian Church, 857 Duluth Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30043 or the Alzheimer's Association-Western Carolina Chapter, 3800 Shamrock Dr., Charlotte, NC 28215. The family is being served by Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, Charlotte.
