ROBERTS, MRS. ELLEN JUNE (BUCKNER) - age 63 of Maynardville, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011 at Ft. Sanders Medical Center. She was a member of Warwick Chapel Baptist Church and was a Big Fan of the ECB Championship Wrestling. She was preceded in death by husband, William (Bill) Roberts; parents, Hubert and Alice Buckner; four brothers and two sisters. Survived by sister, Elizabeth Atkins; brother, Richard Buckner, both of Luttrell; special niece and caregiver, Ava Padgett of Maynardville; mother-in-law, Ella Mae Roberts of Corryton; special friend, Chris Berkley; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. in Byrds Chapel. Rev. Leonard Goin and Rev. Ray Headrick officiating. Music by New Friendship Singers and Allison Padgett. Interment 1 p.m. Monday at Dyer Cemetery. Pallbearers: Dale Buckner, Greg Atkins, Keith Buckner, Tim Atkins, Marshall Buckner, David Hickman, Jr., Allen Padgett,, and Joe Buckner.
