COL. GRUBBS
HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. -- Col. (Ret.) Frank E. Grubbs, 86, of Havre De Grace, formerly of Alabama, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at Fair Oaks Hospital in Maryland.
A graveside service with military honors was held Monday, Jan. 24 at 1 p.m. at Five Points Cemetery in Five Points with the Rev. Herbert Howard and a military chaplain officiating.
Col. Grubbs is survived by his wife, Gertrude Grubbs of Havre De Grace; one daughter, Glenda (John) Shuford of Oakton, Va.; two granddaughters, Rebecca Jane Shuford Simpson of Italy, and Kimberly Danielle Shuford of Harrisonburg, Va.
Born Sept. 2, 1913 in Alabama, Col. Grubbs was retired from the United States Army after 30 years. He worked with the United States Government Ballistics and Technical Team.
Jeff Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette handled arrangements.
