Former Resident Burns to Death
Word was received here that Adlore Racette, former Concordian, burned to death at his home in Kansas City last night. Mr. Racette had gone to sleep with a cigarette in his hand and the resulting fire burned him to death it was reported here. The home was also badly damaged.
Adlore Racette, 56, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Racette of Clyde had lived his entire life in Cloud County until he moved to Kansas City several years ago.
He is survived by his wife; four children, Mrs. Marcelline Quiring of Washington state; E. J. Racette, Delmar Racette, and Mrs. Charles Williamson all of Concordia; four brothers, Fred and Henry of Clyde, Edmer of Wichita, and Snine of Colorado; and two sisters, Mrs. Armond Dandurand of Wichita and Edmie Racette of Missouri.
No word regarding funeral arrangements have been received by relatives here today, except that burial will be in Kansas City.
