Paul Lopez Duran Sr., 75, of Casa Grande died on March 24, 2011 at home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church by the Rev. Thomas Hever. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Duran was born on Dec. 2, 1935 in Tolleson and was a son of Ramiro W. and Isabel Lopez Duran. He was a farmer and worked for Maricopa-Stanfield Irrigation and Drainage District and Eloy Schools transportation.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, watching television, especially the Food Network and Dr. Oz, and telling stories about his life. He was a devoted Catholic and member of St. Anthony's Church. He was an Arizona Cardinals fan.

Survivors include three sons, David R., Richard J. and Mark A. Duran Sr., all of Casa Grande; a daughter, Cynthia Siller of Casa Grande; five brothers, Carmelo, Henry, Ralph and Rudy Duran, all of Casa Grande, and Isabel Duran of Gila Bend; a sister, Mary E. Rodriguez of Stanfield; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elisa R.; a son, Paul Duran Jr.; and a brother, Richard Duran.
