Mr. Henry Lucas, an old and respected resident of the 13th con., passed away on Saturday last after a lingering illness, in his 74th year. (73 years, 3 months and 1 day). The funeral took place on Monday afternoon, the service being conducted by the Rev. J. Downie. A large number of the Orange Order, of which the deceased was for many years a member, paid their last tribute of respect to a worthy brother. The funeral
procession was one of the largest ever seen in the township, 105 rigs following the remains to their last resting place in St. James Church Cemetery, 6th line Brooke.
