Mildred Westbrook, 83 of Glover, passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 in Ft. Smith, AR. The daughter of Walter and Bulah (Thompson) Gibson, Mildred was born, August, 1, 1927 in Glover, OK.

Mildred was a member of the Assembly of God Church, and enjoyed sewing, making quilts, tending to her yardwork and flower gardens. She especially enjoyed the time she spent reading her Bible.

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Douglas Westbrook; three brothers, William Gibson, Leeburn Gibson, Alvin "Abb" Gibson; two sisters, Marie McKeever and Rosa Lee Harcrow.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons and daughters-in-law, Joe Wayne and Maxine Westbrook of the North Pole community, Leroy and Linda Westbrook of Golden, Gary and Liz Westbrook of Valliant; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and James Odle of Van Buren, AR, and Linda and Darrell Pinkerton of Van Buren, AR; a brother and sister-in-law, Elton and Vallie Gibson of Broken Bow; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Vivian McKeever of Idabel, and Bonnie and Eldon Colson of Glover; four grandchildren and their spouses, Lisa and Jeff Highfill of Durant, Laura and Mike Perry of McAlester, OK, Susan and Kevin Chalk of Durant, and Brenton Odle of Van Buren, AR; three great-grandchildren, Alaina Highfill, Kendra Perry, and Kristopher Perry; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.




Visitation:

4:00 – 6:00p.m., Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.



Service:

10:00a.m., Monday, January 10, 2011 at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow with Bro. Larry Morris and Bro. Tommy Treat officiating. Interment will follow in the Glover Cemetery
