KILGORE – Mrs. Martha Stormont O'Hagan of Kilgore, 74 year old – former Sherman resident and retired Kilgore Junior College teacher, died Monday at Roy. H. Laird Hospital.
Services were held Wednesday in Rader Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Gerald Haby officiated and burial was in Kilgore City Cemetery.
Mrs. O'Hagan was born in Water Valley, Mississippi, a doctor of John David and Martha Benson Stormont, and married John O'Hagan.
She moved to Kilgore in 1950 from Longview and was a history and social teacher at Kilgore Junior College for 16 year before her retirement. On Oct 25, 1986, she was honored by ex-students as ex-teacher of the year.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband; sons, Mike O'Hagan of La Jolla, California, Pat O'Hagan of Irving and Bob O'Hagan of San Jose, California; daughter, Mrs. Dottie Prate of Temple and Mrs. Jane Kelly, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and 10 grandchildren.
Rosary was recited Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
Memorial may be made to Kilgore Junior College or East Texas Treatment Center.
