Robert Lincoln Lindsey dies suddenly at home; Inquest conducted and finds cerebral hemorrhage was cause.

Robert Lincoln Lindsey, a farmer, resideing near Literberry died suddenly at 8 o'clock yesterday, Thursday morning October 14, 1937 at his home. He was 76 years old and had been in failing health.

The remains were removed to the William Funeral home in this city, funeral arrangements are expected to be completed today.

Coroner Elmer Sample held an inquest yesterday, the jury returning a verdict of death from cerebral hemorrhage. Testimony showed that Mr. Lindsey had been in poor health for some time, but arose as usual and ate breakfast. He was stricken soon after getting up from the table, passing away within a few minutes.

Mr. Lindsey was a life time resident of Literberry neighborhood where he was born August 2, 1861. He was united in marriage with the late Laura Foster Lindsey who died in 1927. Surviving are three children; Mrs. Gertrude Gross, Pere; Mrs. Thomas Barbour of north of the city, and James Lindsey at home.
