Nola V. Smith, 97, of Buna, Texas, died Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Silsbee Oaks Nursing Home in Silsbee, Texas.
A native of Buna, she had lived most of her life in the Buna/Evadale area. She was also a former 35 year resident of Port Arthur, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Fred Smith, an employee of Gulf Oil Corporation for 38 years, and a son, Richard Larry Smith.
She is survived by a son, Fred Smith, Jr.; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
