Mrs. Minnie Lewis
Mrs. Minnie Lewis, 85, of Somerville, mother of Mrs. A. J. (Shorty) Henson of 1317 Lowden, died at 1 a.m. Sunday in a Somerville hospital after a-short illness. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in a Snook church.
Burial will be in Snook Cemetery under direction of Woods Funeral Home in Somerville.
In addition to Mrs. Henson, survivors include five sons, Charlie Foyt of Seymour, Arthur Foyt of Austin, Edward Foyt of Snook, Melvin Lewis of Houston and Harold Lewis of Somerville; four daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Schoppe and Mrs. Minnie Saverck, both of Houston, Mrs. Lillie Foster of Fort Worth and Mrs. Mary Ann Hoppe of Brenham; several brothers and sisters; 25 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
