Services: 2 p.m. July 24 in Who So Ever Will Community Church, Edinburgh, of which she was a member, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m. July 23. Burial: Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh.

Survivors: husband Dwight D. Goldsmith; children David D., Donald S., Christopher O., Sherry M. Goldsmith; brothers Owen, John Jr., C. Gail McAnelly; sister Linda Dial; four grandchildren.

Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, Edinburgh, is handling arrangements.

Sharon S. Goldsmith, 56, died Sunday, July 21, 2002, at Indiana University Medical Center. She was a longtime resident of Edinburgh.

She was born Jan. 18, 1946, in Columbus. Her parents were John McAnelly Sr. and Doris (Baldwin) McAnelly. She married Dwight D. Goldsmith on May 8, 1965. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Sherry M. Goldsmith of Edinburgh; three sons, David D. Goldsmith and Christopher O. Goldsmith, both of Edinburgh, and Donald S. Goldsmith of Franklin; a sister, Linda Dial of Columbus; three brothers, Owen McAnelly of Taylorsville, John McAnelly Jr. of Edinburgh and C. Gail McAnelly of Mississippi; and four grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and a member of Who So Ever Will Community Church in Edinburgh.

The Rev. Lewis Burton will conduct a service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Who So Ever Will Community Church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until time of service Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Arrangements are being handled by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
