Cause of death was""summer complaint"" according to his obituary in the newspaper.

The term "summer complaint" referred to acute diarrhea which occured during the summer, primarily in children & infants, and caused by bacterial contamination of food.

There was a mention in the family that some green beans might have been left on a table overnight and the baby got into them.

In reading the article written along with the obituary it sounds like all of the kids were sick with the same thing but Norvin died within 24 hrs.
