My journey on this earth has ended and although I am sad to leave the family I love, I am happy to be at peace.

I was born October 1, 1946, the sixth child of Junior I. Taylor and Fawn N. Olsen Taylor. I was raised in Farr West and attended Weber County schools, graduating in 1964.

I married Gary Roundy in 1964 and was later divorced. We were blessed with a wonderful and caring son, Brent. In 1994, I married Marcus J. Mason a loving husband, companion and friend of 16 years.

I worked at IRS and retired from Hill Air Force Base after 29 years of service.

Over the years, I found great solitude in oil painting and had a special group of art friends called the Social Light Ladies. I cherished the laughter and good times we shared together. I also had a special friend of many years, Thora Ann.

I enjoyed working on family histories, reading and antiques.

Surviving is my husband, Marcus, son, Brent (Teri) Roundy, grandsons, Colten Roundy, Derek Hilliker and great-grandson, Tayson Hilliker. Also surviving are three brothers, Gary (Elaine) Taylor, Lloyd (Pat) Taylor, Glenn "Buster" Taylor, and four sisters, Joann (Norman) Penrod, Sharon (Kimball) Call, Lois Wardle and Dixie Taylor (Brad Daylong).

I was preceded in death by my parents, an infant daughter, Kelly Lynn Roundy, who was so perfect she returned to her Heavenly Father at birth, and a step-son, Jason Mason.

"I am home in Heaven dear ones; Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever safely home in Heaven at last".

The family would like to thank Crestwood Care Center for the wonderful care and compassion they gave Linda over the past two months. Linda was a special lady, she always had a kind word for everyone. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held Friday April 1st at 2 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

The family will meet with friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery Condolences may be sent to the family at: www.lindquistmortuary.com
