Graveside services will be held in the West Side District Cemetery Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. for Dora McGavock, 72, of Taft. The pastor of the First Assembly of God, will officiate at the services.
She was born April 20, 1916 in Duant, Oklahoma and died Monday morning, May 5, 1988, in a Bakersfield hospital.
She lived on the West Side since 1936 and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her husband, four daughters, three sisters, a brother, 17 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
