Surviving are his wife, Ruth E.; daughters, Sandra Klender of New Haven and Cheryl Holzinger of Roanoke; a son, Gene of Fort Wayne; sisters, Mae Dial of Fort Wayne and Marie Kelly of Northfield, Ill.; brothers, Clarence and Howard, both of Fort Wayne; and nine grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. tomorrow in Elzey & Haggard Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be with military honors in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are gifts to the American Lung Association or Matthew 25 Health and Dental Clinic.
