Konzelman
Former area resident, 88 Elma M. Adams Konzelman, 88, of Hermiston, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, in Hermiston. Mrs. Konzelman was born Nov. 8, 1913 in Oberlin, Kan., to Homer and Jessie Morton.
In 1932, she married Romeyn E. Adams. He died in 1950. In 1967, she married Emmett Konzelman; he died earlier.
Mrs. Konzelman graduated from high school in Albany in 1931. She lived in Warrenton until 1945, when she moved to Tigard and was a school secretary until 1958. She lived briefly in Walla Walla, Wash., before moving to Albany, and then to Hermiston.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Roma and Jim Nelson of Spokane, Wash.; a daughter-in-law, Karen Adams Key of Orovada, Nev.; four grandchildren, Sandi Adams of Portland, Jan Casper of Vancouver, Wash., Pam Christopher of Hermiston and Stacey Jackson of Sunrise, Fla.; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husbands, a son, Richard Adams, a stepson, David Konzelman, a sister, Marjorie Wick, two brothers, Harold and Daniel Morton, two grandsons, Jeff Nelson and Rick Adams, all died earlier.
Graveside service is 4 p.m. Saturday at Crescent Grove Cemetery in Beaverton, followed by dinner at 5 p.m. at Tigard United Methodist Church.
