Daughter of William E. & Elizabeth Phillips Cox; wife of Elfonzo Monroe Dickson.

Her obituary stated she died at her home in LaFrance, where she had been living for the previous six years, having previously living in Westminster. She had been ill for the past three months, suffering from influenza and pneumonia.

Survived by her husband; eight daughters, Mrs. Lester (Alma) O'Barr, Mrs. E.M. Nix, Mrs. Oscar Hill, all of LaFrance, Mrs. Columbus (Pernie) Hill of Oconee County, Mrs. Emmis Nix of Blacksburg, Mrs. J.H. (Nettie) Tannery of Oconee County, Mrs. Lillie Smith of Westminster, and Mrs. E.J. (Bessie) Gray of Oconee County; and four sons, G.M. Dickson of Iva, and J.L. Dickson, J.S. Dickson, and Earl Dickson, all of LaFrance.

Funeral services: Tuesday, March 5, 1929, from the Baptist Church of South Union, conducted by Rev. L.E. Lumpkin.
