Len was the eldest of Martin and "Nannie's" children. The family moved to Lake Lenore,SK in 1915. Len did well in school and when he began working turned his hand to whatever task needed doing. He was a wonderful entertainer, sharing fantastic stories, told with the best expressions, as well as playing some of the best accordian and harmonica music. Len homesteaded near Cecil Lake with his brother "Slim" during the Depression, and during WWII he took his wife and children up to mile 1019 to build the first Agricultural experimental farm in the Yukon.The family later moved to Whitehorse and then to Grande Prairie and Grovedale.Len married Alice Leclerc and they had five daughters.Len was a special, remarkable man, who left us all with wonderful memories.
