EDGAR WESTPFAHL
Edgar Westpfahl, 85, formerly of 3709 Hwy. 42N, Monday, February 20, 1989 at Morningside Health Center, where he had been a resident for the past five months. Mr. Westpfahl was born August 17, 1903 in Ada, a son of the late Carl and Anna Neuhaus Westpfahl. On June 18, 1930 he married Lillian Eserhut of Sheboygan, in Wild Rose, Waushara County. Mr. Westpfahl was employed from 44 years at Armour Leather Tanning Co., retiring in 1970. He was a charter member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian of Morningside; a brother, Arthur (Emily) Westpfahl and a sister, Mrs. Edna (Carl) Kernen, both of Sheboygan. He is further survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Edgar Westpfahl will be held at 11 am Thursday, February 23, 1989 at Ebenezer United Church of Christ. The Rev. Robert Page, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Town of Meeme, Manitowoc Co. Friends may call at the Nickel Lippert Funeral Home on Wednesday after 4 pm to 8 pm and at the church on Thursday after 9:30 am until the time of services. A memorial fund has been established in Mr. Westpfahl's name for Ebenezer United Church of Christ.
