WARREN TERRY

Warren H. Terry, 83, formerly of Merrill, and Sheboygan Falls, died on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000 at Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, where he was a resident for the past three years. He was born September 20, 1917 in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of the late Lee and Fern (Dodge) Terry. Warren served in the U.S. Army 98th Infantry during World War II. He married Selma Huber in Sheboygan on May 28, 1949. She preceded him in death on June 27, 1997. Warren was a plumber working for Aldag-Hanold and Rhose Bros. in Plymouth, before his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Sheboygan and was an usher. Warren was also a member of the American Legion Post 149 and the Masonic Lodge in Sheboygan.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna (Andrew) Sessions of Sheboygan; one son, Dale Terry of Howards Grove; four grandchildren, Tanya (fiancé Brian Harp); Tami, April and Andrew Jr. Sessions; one sister, Thelma (Alvin) Romine of Muscatine, Iowa; one brother, Richard (Audrey) Terry also of Muscatine, Iowa and one brother-in-law, Dick Hazen of Peoria, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one sister and one brother.
Funeral services for Warren will be held at 11 am Monday, December 18, 2000 at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Sheboygan with the Rev. David Taylor, pastor, officiating. Burial will take place at Bethel Cemetery Ada. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 9 am until the time of services. A memorial fund will be established in his name for Alzheimer and Related Disorders. The staff of the Huehns-Wenig Funeral Home of Sheboygan Falls is serving the family.
