REINHOLD ROETHEL

Reinhold H. Roethel, 86, formerly of 920 Cleveland St., Kiel, died Tuesday morning, May 28, 1991, at Calumet Homestead, New Holstein, where he was a resident the past two years.
Funeral services will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. Rev. Art Wille, Pastor of the Congregational U.C.C. Neenah/Menasha will officiate.
Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, town of Meeme.
He was born February 8, 1905, in the town of Meeme, son of the late Henry and Elise Schultz Roethel. He attended Mineral Spring School, town of Meeme. On April 25, 1925, he married Ida Voss, at Bethel U.C.C. in the town of Herman.
He farmed in the town of Meeme until 1969 when they moved to Kiel. He was employed at Neumann Plumbing and Heating in Howards Grove for many years. His wife, Ida, preceded him in death on February 15, 1990. He was a member of Bethel U.C.C. in the town of Herman.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elaine (Erv) Hemb of Menasha, Mrs. Carol (Carl) Kolb of Cleveland; seven grandchildren, Bonnie Pozolinski of Menasha, Rick Hemb of Fresno, Calif., Tom Kolb of Wisconsin Rapids, Terry Kolb of New Holstein, Daniel Kolb of Kohler, David Kolb of Lodi, Robert Kolb of Kalamazoo, Mich.; 10 great grandchildren, Nick, Sarie and Chelsea Pozolinski, Corrie, Megan, Sara, Patrick, Derek, Mark and Carolyn Kolb; two brothers, Hugo Roethel of Oostburg, Arvin Roethel of Sheboygan. He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, a step brother, two step sisters.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, from 4 p.m. Thursday until the
time of service. A memorial has been established in his name.
