VIOLA RIETBROCK
Viola E. Rietbrock, 89, of W4331 State Hwy 32, Elkhart Lake, died Friday morning, June 26, 1992 at her home. She is the former Viola Hartman, born April 17, 1903 in the Town of Rhine, daughter of the late Robert and Augusta (Sinner) Hartman. She attended school in Millhome. On January 9, 1926 she married Herman Rietbrock. Her husband and her farmed in the Town of Herman, all their married life. Her husband, Herman, preceded her in death on December 17, 1960. She is a member of Bethel UCC, the Town of Herman and the Bethel Ladies Aide. She enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by one son, Vernon (Lois) Reitbrock; one daughter, Diane Rietbrock, all of rural Elkhart Lake; three grandchildren, Kim, Teri and Rick; two brothers, Elmer (Sally) Hartman of Sheboygan; Leroy (Jeanette) Hartman, of rural Elkhart Lake; one sister, Anita Hartman of Sheboygan; one sister-in-law, Frieda Hartman of Sheboygan Falls; numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend, Nancy Schneider. She was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Monday at Bethel UCC, Town of Herman with the Rev. Melinda Feller, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel from 4-8 pm on Sunday and at the church Monday from 11 am until the time of services. A memorial has been established in her name.
