Herman A. Rietbrock, 61, a well known Town of Herman farmer, living at Rt. 1, Elkhart Lake, Sheboygan County, died Saturday afternoon at home after a heart attack. Funeral services will be Tuesday at Bethel United Church of Christ, Herman, the Rev. Carl Fried officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Rietbrock was born May 2, 1899, on the Rietbrock homestead farm at Herman, son of the late Andrew and Louise Meyer Rietbrock. He was educated in the district school of the township. He married Viola Hartmann Jan. 9, 1926, in the Town of Rhine, Sheboygan County, and they took up residence on the Rietbrock farm. Mr. Rietbrock was a member of Bethel Church and a former elder. A grandson and sister preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Vernon of Herman; a daughter, Diane of Milwaukee; a brother, William of Herman; a sister, Mrs. Annie Spindler of Beechwood, Sheboygan County, and a granddaughter.
