ARMIN NEUHAUS

Armon F. Neuhaus (sic), 92, of Route 1, Elkhart Lake, died Wednesday evening at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital, where he had been admitted earlier in the day. He was born Sept. 28, 1919 at Menominee, Mich., son of Albert and Alma Schroer Neuhaus. He attended district school in the Town of Herman. He married Esther Toepel on May 28, 1943 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kiel. The couple farmed in the Town of Schleswig. Mr. Neuhaus was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ in the Town of Herman.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Arleen Hammerschmidt of Cleveland; two sons, Karl and Donald, both of Town of Schleswig; five grandchildren; his mother of Howards Grove; three brothers, Harold of Chilton, Arno of McFarland and Elmer of Ada and two sisters, Mrs. Reinhard Ulrich and Mrs. Charles Schwinn, both of Howards Grove. He was preceded in death by his father, a son, a brother and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday at Bethel United Church of Christ. The Rev. Hilbert Klein, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel after 4 pm Friday, from 9 am to 11 am Saturday and at the church from noon until the time of services. A memorial fund has been established in Mr. Neuhaus' name.
