Mrs. Iona Mahloch, 83, a resident of Sunny Ridge, died there this morning.
The former Iona Westphal, she was born July 15, 1893, in the Town of Centerville
(Manitowoc County), a daughter of William and Emilie Westphal.
On June 21, 1916, she married Louis Mahloch in the Town of Meeme.
The couple farmed in Meeme until moving to 2121 Milz Ct., Sheboygan. They
celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1966. They moved to Sunny Ridge
in 1974. Mr. Mahloch died Feb. 4.
Mrs. Mahloch was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ, Ada.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Walter H. Ahrens, Funeral
Home, Howards Grove, with the Rev. Reinhard Ulright, interim pastor of Bethel
UCC, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and until the
time of services Friday.
A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Mahloch’s name for Bethel UCC.
