Kiel, Wis—(Special)—Mrs. Anna Mahloch, 84, widow of the late George Mahloch, died suddenly Thursday night at the home of her son-in-law, Anton Meyer, in the town of Herman. Nee Staudigal, she was born in the town of Meeme, on Oct. 8, 1855, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Staudigal. She married George Mahloch on June 14, 1874, and the couple moved to a farm in the town of Meeme. In 1904 they sold the farm to Anton Meyer, with whom they lived until 1918, when they purchased a home near the Liberty Pole in the town of Meeme. Mr. Mahloch died in 1937 and the daughter, Mrs. Anton Meyer, died in 1925. After the death of her husband she lived with her son, Louis, in the town of Meeme and then with Anton Meyer.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Paul Traeger, Sutton, Nebr., two sons, Louis, town of Meeme, and William of Chicago, nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the C. J. Meiselwitz Funeral home and at the Bethel Reformed church, town of Herman, the Rev. William Bollmann officiating, with interment in the church cemetery.
