John M. Kretsch Dies At His Home In Town Herman
John M. Kretsch, 69, passed away at his home in Town Herman at 2:45 a.m. today
following a lingering illness.
Mr. Kretsch, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Math Kretsch, was born November 1, 1872,
in Town Herman, and in 1895 was married to Hulda Tagge and the couple resided
in Manitowoc county.
Since 1934, when Mr. Kretsch retired, they resided at the present homestead
farm.
Survivors are his wife; four children, Elmer of Plymouth, Mrs. Alve (Norma)
Eickhoff of Millhome, Armin of Spring Corner, and Arthur at home; eight grand-
children; a brother Math of Manitowoc. Four sisters and two brothers preceded
him in death.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:15 p.m. at the Walter H. Ahrens Funeral
home at Howards Grove and at 2 p.m. at the Bethel Reformed church in Town Herman.
The Rev. Calvin Franz will officiate and burial will be made in the church
cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home beginning Saturday at 10 a.m.
