ALFRED ECKARDT

Alfred H. Eckardt, 63, of the Town of Meeme, Rt. 2, Cleveland, died Thursday evening at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital, Sheboygan.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethel United Church of Christ, Town of Herman. The Rev. Carl Fried will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Eckardt was born April 14, 1905, in the Town of Herman, son of the late Louis and Emma Gutenberger Eckardt. He was educated in the Town of Meeme school district. On Nov. 8, 1929, he married Annie Scheib in the Town of Herman. They located on the Scheib home farm and farmed there all their lives. Mr. Eckardt was a former church elder and member of the district school board.

Survivors include his wife; a son, (private); two brothers, Raymond of Milwaukee and Alvin of Rt. 2, Cleveland, and 2 grandchildren. A brother preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, after 3 p.m. Saturday until 11 a.m. Sunday when the casket will be taken to the church where the body will lie in state until time of service.
