Mrs. Louise C. Conley, 84, of 613 Huron Ave., died at St. Nicholas Hospital
this morning following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Buffalo, N.Y., on March 5, 1883, the daughter of the late Max
and Wilhelmina Gretchmann. On June 10, 1910, she married Edward Conley, of
Buffalo. Mr. Conley died in 1934.
In 1944 Mrs. Conley came to Sheboygan to live with her sister, Mrs. Lydia
Bollman. She was a licensed practical nurse here until she retired about 10
years ago.
Mrs. Conley was a member of Zion United Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Bollman, Mrs. Herbert Gorbach, Buffalo,
and Mrs. Robert Patterson, Inglewood, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
One sister and four brothers had died previously.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Nickel’s Funeral Home, with the
Rev. George Mohr, pastor of Zion United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial
will be at the Bethel United Church of Christ cemetery in the Town of Herman.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday.
