William Sampson Jennings, known as Samp to his family and friends, was born Apr 1868 in Missouri. He married Dixie Haffie Apperson April 11, 1895.
Samp was an Attorney. He practiced in Lawrence Co in 1910. By 1920 he was a lawyer for the railroad working out of Little Rock, Arkansas. By 1930 he had retired and he and his wife moved to Hialeah, Dade Co, Mo. for their golden years. However, in 1930 his mother-in-law Mrs J T Apperson, his wife's sister, Harvey M Apperson Dawson, and husband William P Dawson; and another of his wife's sisters, Rose Dempsey, moved into the house with them.
