Mr. Antos was born Sept. 15, 1934, in Bayshore, Long Island, N.Y., to the late Alfred Antos and Catherine Jones.
Al graduated from Palmyra High School in Palmyra in 1952 and joined the U.S. Navy and served his country until 1955. He graduated from La Salle University in Philadelphia, in 1963, with a degree in Mathematics.
He worked for 24 years for Data Systems Analysts in Pennsauken and Fairfax, Va. He retired as vice president in 1995.
He is survived by his wife, Ann of Wilmington; sons, Joe and wife Leslie, of Elmira, N.Y., Steven and wife Susan, of Stockton, N.J.; sister, Joyce Traynham of Burlington Township; granddaughters, Lexie and Dani Antos of Elmira; and several nieces, nephews and grand nieces.
The family will see friends at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, at St. Mark Catholic Church in Wilmington, followed by a memorial Mass at 11 a.m. conducted by Father Marcos Gonzalez.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to The American Cancer Society or St. Mark Catholic School Tuition Assistance Fund, 1013 Eastwood Rd, Wilmington, NC 28403.
